Patricia Burch, Managing Principal of the Stillwater Group, served in a variety of key administrative positions at Columbia University from 1981 to 1993, including budget director for the arts and sciences and associate provost for planning and policy analysis. In the course of her work, she directed policy research and planning projects, including academic program evaluation, financial aid policy and budget, undergraduate admissions and recruitment, libraries management and acquisitions policies, and comparative analysis of faculty salaries and benefits. She also monitored and analyzed indicators of institutional quality and competitive strength, national demographic and economic trends, and government policies affecting higher education. Ms. Burch staffed Columbia’s university-wide strategic planning process and directed studies on a wide range of marketing, enrollment and financial issues in Columbia College.

Education: Patricia earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees at Columbia (B.A., economics; M.B.A., business economics and non-profit management).
